From Corporate Life to Entrepreneurship
Hi, I’m the founder of Hanusai, and I’m excited to share my story with you. After 16 years of living in London, I’ve taken a leap of faith and decided to leave my full-time job as Chief Legal Counsel at a multinational company to pursue my passion for creating an online space where luxury meets affordability.
A Journey of Ambition and Reinvention
I’ve always been someone who enjoys a challenge. When I moved from India to London all those years ago, I couldn’t have imagined how fulfilling my life would become. I’ve achieved everything I could have dreamed of, but there was always that little itch — the urge to break away from routine and try something different. It was that same drive that led me to qualify as a solicitor at 45 and eventually take on a leadership role in the corporate world.
The Next Step
But even with all that success, I felt the need to push myself further, to do something new. And so, I decided to follow my passion for luxury goods and retail, which led to the birth of Hanusai.
My Mission
At Hanusai, I aim to offer something unique: a curated collection of luxury items, from art to handbags to home decor, all at affordable prices. I want to make high-quality, beautiful pieces accessible to those who appreciate them, without the sky-high prices that often come with luxury.
This new venture is all about embracing challenges and pursuing a dream that I’ve long held — to create a space where people can find things they truly love, without compromising on quality or cost.
